Our sweet baby

It amazes me to see how much Lydia changes everyday. So although she is only 2 weeks old and still weighs no more than she did when she was born I thought I would post some updated pictures of our growing and changing baby girl.
We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy baby! She is barely ever fussy, eats really well and is already sleeping up to six hours at night thanks to our swaddle blanket!

Thanks Grandma!

Jeffs mom came to help us
with the new baby and just
left today. She was such a
big help and we loved having
her. We are so blessed to have
her in our lives! WHile she was
here I was able to recover and
get caught up on some much
needed sleep. Lydia just loves
her Grandma and we already
miss her and can't wait to see her again.
Thanks Grandma!

Our first week!

I Can't believe our baby is one week old! It seems like she was just being born yesterday but at the same time I can't remember life without her! She is such a blessing and is already making me a better person!

Jeff never stops amazing me at how wonderful of a father he is! She sure loves her Daddy! I can't believe how much she has changed in even as little as 1 week! I wish I could keep her this age forever!
This is what she does best... Sleep! If only she would sleep more at night and less during the day, She has night and day mixed up.

This shows you how teeny tiny she is in her bassinet

This is actually a very rare moment, she only cries when shes hungry and I think it is so cute

Our Sleeping Beauty
Jeff is such an amazing father already! It is so sweet for me to watch him be a Daddy with our sweet little girl. He is constantly wanting to be a part of everything and help out as much as possible. There is already an amazing bond between the two of them. Grandpa Bowman came on thursday to meet his new grandaughter and has been such a great help
The first time in her car seat leaving the hospital

This is the beginning of a long 30 hours in the hospital before she was born

Labels for this post:

Her first picture!
She recognized Jeff right away and stopped crying when he came over and started talking to her
Chris has a layover in St. Louis and was able to come visit us in the hospital, it couldnt have been more perfect timing
I Love this baby girl!!!!

The Grand Basin

Jeff and I took a trip to the Grand Basin, one of the many unique spots in St. Louis. This was built for the World Fair in 1876! This is so beautiful and seems out of place in the middle of a big city. The pictures really don't do it justice. I have been pleasently surprised by all the fun and pretty things to do and see here.
