I guess we were all nice because SANTA came to visit us!!

We actually went to visit Santa in Las Vegas and Lydia was lovin him! It was also Doggy night with Santa so Lydia was freaking out the whole time looking at all the dogs waiting in line to see Santa.... (kinda wierd if you ask me...especially in Vegas! girls dressed up sexy with their little puppy or the worst was a crazy girl with a hairless cat)
Anyways, Lydia loved Santa and cheesed it up the whole time we took pictures!
All of our pictures are a little blurry but Here's Christmas morning!
At first she was scared to sit on her pony and just wanted to attack it and then would shove my face it to attack it
Once she got on she Loved it!

She also got a lot more presents and was spoiled by the Grandparents! Thanks guys!

But of course the real meaning of Christmas is Christ! We tried talking about him to Lydia but as a wee little 1 year old presents seemed to be more important(It will probably be this way for a long time and I have to admit I still LOVE presents myself) Imagine that!
Next year however she may be a bit more attentive so my question for you all is was traditions do you have in your home to help young ones remember the true meaning of Christmas?

Vegas Trip

We have been SO busy this Holiday season!
We were in MN for Thanksgiving, Ohio the next week and Vegas the week after that!
It has been so fun visiting everyone but we are happy to be home for awhile with no plans at all!
Lydia has been a tropper and loved all of the traveling and seeing all the familiar faces!

Here we are at the Beautiful Wynn hotel in Vegas!

Jeff took me to my first Vegas show "LOVE" of course we both LOVED it!
Lydia loved all the buffets and the variety of food and SWEETS!
I HIGHLY reccomend the Treasure Island Buffet! I was sceptical at first especially when I saw that it was only $22, but it was soo good... made to order pasta, yummy sushi and even cotton candy!

My Dad watched Lydia for us so we could go to the show!
This trip was extra special because not only was my Dad and Chris there but my Aunt Connie and Uncle Matt were there and my Grandparents (who have only ever been on a plane to go anywhere one other time!)
And here's just a cute picture of Lydia from Grama and Grampa G's house over Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween!!

Our Sleeping Beauty!

I was so excited for this Halloween since Lydia is Kinda old enough to enjoy it!
Such a fun holiday! You get to dress up and eat as much candy as you want!!

I got a little carried away trying out recipes I found on blogs such as these

Mini Pumpkin pies, which look like a pumpkin!
I have to admit I didn't like how they tasted but arent they adorable!
(I let some friends try them and they all promised they tasted good)

This recipe is from here

And look how cute these Frankenstein pops are!

You can find this recipe here

And we also enjoyed a stew cooked in a pumkin!
I highly recommend this!
Very fun and very tasty!
This crazy looking pumpkin is from Chris' garden! GO CHRIS!
The spookier looking the better, RIGHT?!?!

And what would Halloween be with out
Trick-or-Treating!
I love how her dress didn't fit in the stroller!

Getting candy at her first house!

Lydia got her sucker and that was all she needed! She didn't even want to take anyone elses candy!

Lydias little friends Dorothy and Cinderella! Aren't the all just Darling little minnies!

I Love this picture because it shows Lydia screaming with excitment which she continued to do all night! She was SO Excited about her sucker and all the kids dressed up! I think the girls thought she was crazy!

We had a great night!

Hope you all did too!

We can't wait to see everyone elses pictures!

Enjoying the Sun

Our days are getting colder but we love that the sun always shines in Utah! Weve been spending as much time outside as we can getting lots of  vitamin D before the freezing snow falls and were stuck inside all winter!!

Lydia has a belly button obsession by the way!
Thats fair warning to make sure your  shirt is tucked in tightly when your around this little one

Thanks for Disney Land and Here's what you get

Grandma and Grandpa Galovan have started a very exciting tradition of going to
Disney Land every year or two!
We had such a great time seeing all the family and riding all the fun rides!

Jeff's parents made a road trip out of the vacation and stopped here in Utah on the way home! It was so fun to see them again and little did we know, Lydia had a present waiting just for them.....
Bath time is normally a fun time with Lydia!
She loves the water and gets very goofy in the tub playing around!
We thought we were giving the Grandparents a fun job when whe had them bath her after our Sunday dinner but....... Lydia decided that in return for our Disney vacation she should
Poop in the tub!

Of course they were very sweet about it and we only found out what she did after they had already cleaned up the mess and re-bathed her! Ah!!! She has never done that before and of course she chose the timing perfect!

I think it was her way of saying thanks for a great time in Disney Land!

OBX

I know I have been a TERRIBLE blogger lately!! But I've had a good excuse!
We have been SO busy lately and finally are back to a normal life, yay!!
So in the last month we have moved back to Utah from Alabama, gone to a ranch in Wyoming, went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina with my side of the family and  just got back from Disney Land with Jeffs side of the family...whew! And in addition to all that I got my spot in a store in Ohio up and running and I'm so far pleased with its sucess!
Poor Lydia is just so worn out and ready for a schedule again!

I wont make this blog super long and include all our vacations in one, so I'll start out with
North Carolina!

Warning: A lot of pictures ahead!

This trip was much needed since we havent all been together since Christmas 2007!
Of course it was like we had never been apart and all the cousins got a long great!
Our trip included lots of trips to the beach and the pool, Tennis, Beach football, lots of dance parties and we even had a talent show!
Here's Crazy Jeff jumping off the balcony of our house into the pool!

Lydia did this same move everytime she was thrown into the air! She's such a clown always trying to make people laugh!
The favorite game of the trip was ring a round the rosy!

We had so much fun playing in the sand everyday!
All of the boys enjoyed the HUGE waves!
Thats Jeffs feet sticking out of the huge wave!

And whats a family vacation without family photos!
The wind was not in favor of my hair so all of our pictures look very windblown!
My dad and all my brothers!
I love this picture! Lydia is pulling Jeff's hair and both of their faces are priceless!

The boys enjoyed throwing Lydia around!
And there's her signiture mid air move

Me and my Kylie! I love this girl!
These little girls found a jellyfish!
On our way out of NC we stopped at the wright brothers memorial where they took their first flight and we got to see Curious George!
It was such a great trip and we can't wait to do it again!
