I Wish I Was A Cowboy!

Jeff really does wish he was a COWBOY especially after going to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas this weekend

We had such a fun time with Chris and my Aunts and Uncles 

AND

We loved seeing all the humble, All American Cowboys!

Maybe someday hunny!

(All Jeff wants for christmas is to be a cowboy with lots of land, I hope Santa is listening)

Road Trip!

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to take a road trip to California so Lydia could meet all of her cousins on the Galovan side

We first stopped in Vegas so Lydia could see all the lights!

Lydia loved it which is not a surprise

Lydia went to the beach for the first time in Southern California and loves watching the waves roll in and out

Lydia got to play at the playground for the first time and love the swing!

Heres her cousins Carson and Maddison! She had a hard time warming up to all the attention! That will change soon I'm sure!

Heres all the girls minus Annie who is only 6 weeks old at Jim and Jen's house in Folsom! Lydia had three substitute moms while we were there!

It was so fun seeing everyone and Lydia loves all of her cousins!

Next stop: Maryland (Date not yet set)

I am SO THANKFUL for so many things in my life

Heres just a few things....

My wonderfully sweet Husband and all that he does for me and the way he loves!

My sweet little girl who makes me feel so special and happy without even trying

My parents and Jeffs who are so supportive and put up with us for all these years :-)

My church which gives me hope, courage and faith

All of our brothers and sisters who set such good examples and also give us some good laughs

All of our sweet nieces and nephews who make life so bright!

All of my relatives who make us feel whole

All of our friends who make life more interesting and fun!

Our beautiful earth

Good food

Sunny days

Vacations

Education

The Ocean

Our freedom

 And I could go on and on and on......

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I have to say I am very disappointed :( in a recent movie I saw named Twilight! 

I love love love the books and thought I didn't care how the movie was I just wanted to see how it translated on the big screen. I can't believe that STephanie would let it be so awful! If that is truly her interpretation of the book I am very disappointed. I think that if you havent read the books you will probably like this movie. The acting however was so terrible and the film seemed very low budget. bummer!! Anyone else feel like this? 

Oh well.... STILL LOVE THE BOOKS!

On a happier note....

Just saw Cold Play in concert and they are so AWESOME!!

If anyone gets the chance to see them, do it! They are now my favorite group!

 And Lydia stayed with a babysitter for the first time and she did awesome! Thanks Jordan!

A Blessing, A Wedding and A Happy Halloween!

Lydia was given a name and a Blessing from her Father last Sunday

I'm told that she STARED at him with a great big SMILE on her face THE WHOLE TIME!

Summers End

The summer has always been a time of the year that I anticipate and enjoy and dread its end. I love the hot weather, summer clothes and walking around barefoot, all of the yummy fresh fruit and vegetables, going to the pool and laying out in the sun and now I love that every summer I get to go on a whole new adventure to a new city and meet lots of new people.  I miss everyone that I lived so close to this summer and now live so far away! I miss you guys and hopefully we will see each other again soon! And although I am sad that summer is over I am sooo excited to be back home in our house and back to normal life! We ended the summer with a bang taking a trip to Minnesota to visit Jeff's family and then to Nauvoo. And since we have been back we have been busy doing some "spring" cleaning and I have started back at BYU, almost done! Lydia is enjoying life here and loves seeing her Uncle Chris who is staying with us until his contract opens up in Provo. She is already 2 months old and I can't believe it! At her last doctors apt. she weighed 11 Ilb! SHe is such a big girl and the other day I put her in a 3-6 month outfit! SHe is smiling a ton and has recently found her tongue and loves to stick it out and blow bubbles! SHe is a joy and we still have a hard time not looking at her long enough to get anything done! We just love her so much and Im so happy Jeff is around more now to enjoy her! Thank you Jeff and Lydia for making my life everything I could ever ask for and more!
