Horsey!

This past weekened we were lucky enough to be able to go up to Wyoming and ride horses, 4 wheelers, relax and spend time with family!

It was soo fun and Lydia was in heaven!!
She didn't pass up one activity and got to ride everything and loved it!

Here she is on the Horsey with her cousin Harriet! They were so cute riding around with each other and weren't scared at all!

Of Course Lydia had to wear her cowboy boots, which she insists on wearing everyday even though they are 2 sizes too small.

Hopefully its not too long before this girl gets to ride a horse again!

Growing Growing Growing Belly

This belly wont stop growing!!
Which I guess is a good thing!
I'm just hoping my stomach doesnt get quite as big as it did with Lydia....
I get HUGE!!

So before I become unrecognizable we thought we would get some mommy/ daughter/ belly shots!

Linda was kind enough to take these for us!

I'm sure its hard for Lydia to really understand that there's an actual baby growing inside there, its wierd and amazing even for me to think about
23 weeks/ 6 months!
And yes it is for sure another GIRL!
I look like I could almost be 9 months already!

Can you beleive my baby is 2!!!

Yup, that's right, this little lady turned 2 in July!!
{We're a little late blogging so get ready for picture overload}
{Linda took this adorable picture; throughherlensonline.com}

A week before Lydia's birthday we decided to make a trip to Ohio, seeing that it would be the very last trip where we wouldn't have to buy Lydia a plane ticket... such a bummer!

We were able to meet my Dad's now Fiance Linda, and spend lots of time with Courtney and her little{not so little} guy Cameron!

One of the highlites of the trip was going to a pottery painting place!

Look how happy Lydia was painting all my herself!
They both worked soo hard on their projects!

I Love this picture because it shows how much fun they have together and how much they love each other! Cameron likes to call Lydia his sister!
Align Center
Of course we had a {Dora} cake while we were at my Dads!

Lydia LOVES blowing out candles and asked to do it again and again!
Which helped make fore a good picture {Thanks Linda} Aren't her pictures amazing!
We had such a good time spending some summer days with people we love!!
This is Lydia on her actual birthday morning! She got to have a cupcake for breakfast!

We had a little party at Pump it Up with some friends from the office!

Lydia had a blast and loved bouncing around with her friends!!
Were So thankful for this little girl and we can't beleive how big she's getting, and SO fast!
Its so fun watching Lydia grow into such a sweet, compasionate and smart little girl
{with a lot of personality I might add}

We Love you Lydia Rose and can't wait to spend lots more birthdays with you!

Wanna know what were having?

Looks like we'll be seeing lots of pink over the next many years!!!
I got my ultrasound kinda early because I found a school out here that would do it for free!!!
Of course there was a whole audience watching the ultrasound but for free I'm not going to complain!
This little baby of mine was not very cooperative and kept its legs crossed most of the time and even had its hand inbetween its legs making it very hard to tell the gender so we're not 100% positive its a girl but they said they were 90% sure so we'll go with girl unless we see otherwise later on!

A Blessing

Lydia and I get to spend a ton of time together!
Lately its been just the two of us as we pack up our house and get ready to go join up with Jeff whose been in Alabama for over 2 weeks already!!
We miss Jeff terribly!

But we've still been having fun!

Lydia is the most amazing little girl!
Everyday I feel soo thankful that she is in my life
I am so thankful and amazed at how good of a girl she is!
Tonight as we went through our nightly routine I was just amazed by how great Lydia is! We started our with brushing her teeth and she opened up wide and smiled the whole time! Next we said a prayer and Lydia folded her arms and when I peeked she had her head bowed and her eyes closed tight! She did'nt want to stop praying so I think we ended up saying 3 or 4 prayers! I guess i kept missing something haha!To see such a small person being so reverent just blew me away! After the story I set her in her crib and got the cutest smile which said see ya in the morning!
Lydia is an amazing eater and will eat or at least try anything in front of her!
Lydia loves people and doesnt take very long to warm up to!
Lydia has a great personality and loves to make people laugh! She's always up for a good time!
Lydia rarely frowns or is grumpy, and if she is you can snap her out of it pretty fast! She is mostly all smiles!
Lately Lydia has been very nurturing and loves to give hugs or pat my back or my cheeks!
Lydia is a tough little girl and will try her hardest not to cry if she gets hurt!
I couldnt go on and on....
Ohh how I just LOVE LYDIA! She is my little buddy and I'm so grateful for all of her smiles and reminders of what is important in life!!
I couldn't ask for a better little girl to be placed in our home and I am so honored to be able to raise her!

Hawaii

We have been so blessed to be able to spend so much time with family that lives all over the country (and world)
Our most recent venture was to Hawaii with Jeff's family!
We had SO much fun and it was SO hard to come home!
The picture below was taken right outside our hotel room! Isn't that scenery just amazing!
And Isn't Jeff's family beautiful! I feel so lucky to be apart of such an amazing family!

I Love this little girl! She is so fun! Her newest thing is she is always wanting to sing and dance! She especially loves songs with lots of hand movements!

Jeff and Lydia enjoyed all the time they got to spend with each other in the pool and exploring! They really are best buds!
Don't you all just LOVE summer clothes!

Lydia is a fish in the pool and such a dare devil!
She would swim all day if we would let her, and let me tell you...
I LOVE those arm floaties!
She loved the Independence and I loved knowing she wouldn't just sink to the bottom when she ran and jumped into the pool, which she loved to do!
We even got her to go down this slide by herself! She didn't even mind going underwater at the bottom!
Lydia is growing up so fast we can't believe it! I got her hair in a ponytail for the first time and she looked so cute but so grown up!
I love seeing the little person she is becoming and watching her understand the world more and more everyday!
Lydia loved eating outside in her birthday suit! Ahhh warm weather... we miss you!

In even bigger news.... We sold our house right before we left for Hawaii! That made the trip that much better knowing we didn't have to worry about that anymore!

We really are SO BLESSED!

So Blessed!

I feel so blessed right now to have such amazing family, friends and neighbors!
I received such thoughtful comments(facebook) and calls yesterday that mean more than anyone will know!
And can you believe that my neighbor who just moved in less than 2 weeks ago made me the amazing carrot cake pictured above! It tasted like heaven and was almost too pretty to eat, almost!

And the handsome man below(with a nasty stache I might add) Took me to a romantic dinner, the jazz game and a movie!
I've never felt so spoiled!

And he even shaved so he was that much more kissable!

And in a week we will be making an appearance at the same place we took that picture!
Ahhh Hawaii how I love thee!

stress free painting

Has anyone ever painted a rock?

All you need is a rock from outside, a paint brush and some water
This is the best craft for little ones because they get to paint without getting messy and without the Mommy worrying about messy paint!
We LOVE this craft!
I highly recommend trying it out!

Who else is Loving this Spring weather!
It is so refreshing being able to go outside and bask in the suns warm rays everyday!
Dear Mr. Golden Sun,
We Love you with all our hearts! Please never go away!

I heart February!

Three years ago Jeff and I ended our single lives!

Three years ago we got Married in the Temple!
{for time and all eternity I might add!}

Three years ago we had our first Valentines day as a married couple!

Three years ago we moved into our first apt. together!

Three years ago we went on our first trip as a married couple!

Three years ago Jeff and I started something that would be more wonderful than either one of us could have ever imagined!

Three years ago I made the best decision I've ever made!

I LOVE you Jeff!

And I love February because the whole month is about love and I'm constantly reminded how luck I am!

And I love that Jeff and I now have this crazy little girl to spend our lives with as well!!
This is what happens when Daddy blow dries your hair!
I promise she didn't get electrocuted!

Although the loads of snow outside our house is pretty
I think were ready for it go away so we can {Happily} play outside!

I took Lydia sledding with my activity days group and she was not a fan... I think she takes after her Mommy!
Jeff loves outdoor sports and I on the otherhand prefer to stay inside a warm building when there is snow on the ground...call me a baby I guess...

Even though I prefer warm weather I am a fan of seasons and this cold weather makes me appreciate the warmth that much more!

I guess we were all nice because SANTA came to visit us!!

We actually went to visit Santa in Las Vegas and Lydia was lovin him! It was also Doggy night with Santa so Lydia was freaking out the whole time looking at all the dogs waiting in line to see Santa.... (kinda wierd if you ask me...especially in Vegas! girls dressed up sexy with their little puppy or the worst was a crazy girl with a hairless cat)
Anyways, Lydia loved Santa and cheesed it up the whole time we took pictures!
All of our pictures are a little blurry but Here's Christmas morning!
At first she was scared to sit on her pony and just wanted to attack it and then would shove my face it to attack it
Once she got on she Loved it!

She also got a lot more presents and was spoiled by the Grandparents! Thanks guys!

But of course the real meaning of Christmas is Christ! We tried talking about him to Lydia but as a wee little 1 year old presents seemed to be more important(It will probably be this way for a long time and I have to admit I still LOVE presents myself) Imagine that!
Next year however she may be a bit more attentive so my question for you all is was traditions do you have in your home to help young ones remember the true meaning of Christmas?

Vegas Trip

We have been SO busy this Holiday season!
We were in MN for Thanksgiving, Ohio the next week and Vegas the week after that!
It has been so fun visiting everyone but we are happy to be home for awhile with no plans at all!
Lydia has been a tropper and loved all of the traveling and seeing all the familiar faces!

Here we are at the Beautiful Wynn hotel in Vegas!

Jeff took me to my first Vegas show "LOVE" of course we both LOVED it!
Lydia loved all the buffets and the variety of food and SWEETS!
I HIGHLY reccomend the Treasure Island Buffet! I was sceptical at first especially when I saw that it was only $22, but it was soo good... made to order pasta, yummy sushi and even cotton candy!

My Dad watched Lydia for us so we could go to the show!
This trip was extra special because not only was my Dad and Chris there but my Aunt Connie and Uncle Matt were there and my Grandparents (who have only ever been on a plane to go anywhere one other time!)
And here's just a cute picture of Lydia from Grama and Grampa G's house over Thanksgiving!
